I am having trouble signing into Teams
Teams can be accessed using the Web application or the Desktop app. Most browsers are supported (excluding Safari)
If you are having trouble signing in, try using the web browser app using one of the following methods
Note: If you are sharing a computer, use a new private window.
Option 1: Use the Pinehurst Dashboard
- Open http://3.24.168.135
- Click on the Teams icon
- Login with your username@pinehurst.school.nz and password
Option 2: Use Office 365 Home page
- Go to https://office.com
- Login with your username@pinehurst.school.nz and password
- Click on the teams icon
Option 3: Use Schoolbox
- Go to http://schoolbox.pinehurst.school.nz
- Choose login with SSO
- Login with your username@pinehurst.school.nz and password
- Click on the teams icon
Using the desktop app
If you have an error as below – the desktop app has most likely not been able to connect with Teams – try the web browser. If this is an ongoing issue them please try the steps below
- Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’, or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.
- Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.
- Once in the directory, delete all files in the folder.
- Restart Teams to check if it works.
