Pinehurst Portal – (aka FACTS, Parent Portal)

Parents, caregivers and itinerant teachers are able to access a number of services using the email address you provided to the school.

Important:

All users must use Single Sign On – Azure AD Connect

Login Issue? If you are finding your browser auto-logins but you can not access PCSchool, please go to https://pinehurst.nz/fix first. This will clear any competing accounts from your browser and you will be able to select the personal account that you can log in with.

Logging in the first time

Note: You can login, only with the email that that is in the school system. 

The following instructions will guide you through logging into the Portal using your Google, Microsoft or other email account, by Connecting to Azure AD Connect (Microsoft services).

  1. Click on the Login to Parent Portal button below (this will connect you to https://portal.pinehurst.school.nz) and open a new page so you can see the instructions

  2. When the portal page opens, click on the Azure AD Connect button
  3. You will be prompted to enter your email address – type it in
  4. If your email is address is recognised as being in our system
    If your email address is a Google or a Microsoft account, you will be prompted to enter your Google or Microsoft password.
    If your email is from a different provider a code will be emailed to you that you can use to login (a One Time Password)
    If your email is not recognised in our system, please use the contact link at the bottom of this screen – we do not have the email in our system (please note if your email is recorded as gmail.com, you can not use google.com as this will not be recognised)
  5. The first time you login you will be prompted to accept Pinehurst Services
  6. Once you are logged in, you will see a page similar to the one below. From here, you can Update your details, view student information, view debtor history (if you are the nominated debtor) and pay student fees.
  7. Note: You will also see a link to Schoolbox – this is an area that you can see College student due work, School notices, and use the Monitor Cash free payment (add credit to your student’s account for use at the tuck shop)

Once you are logged into either PCSchool or Schoolbox, you can move seamlessly between the two systems. The first time you log in to PCSchool, you should choose to “Update Your Details”, using the link on the PCSchool homepage.


Frequently Answered Questions

We do not manage or store passwords. We are unable to reset any caregiver passwords.

  • FAQ 1 – I am a staff member and parent – what account do I use?
    • Login with your school email account – we have linked your caregiver information (including personal email) to your school account
  • FAQ 2- I don’t know the password for my account
    • You will need to reset your password with Microsoft, Google or your email provider
  • FAQ3 – I have changed my email address
    • You can make the change in your “Update My Details” area. This will become active after it has been verified – this will likely take two business days.
  • FAQ4 – I did not receive the one time password (verification code), can you get it for me?
    • No, we do not have any control over this process. Please check your junk email. You may need to restart the login process by closing the browser and starting again
  • FAQ5 – What changes do I need to make so that I do not require a one time password each time
